Why is POS not showing the correct product price?
When a product is added to the sale, Retail Express uses the best price available for the customer by checking the following fields:
- Global product prices (i.e. applies to all Outlets)
- Outlet-specific product prices (the field will be shaded in red on the product's "Outlet" tab)
- Product discounts
- Promotional Campaigns
- Customer Price Groups (both with fixed prices and calculated discounts)
- If there is a Maximum Discount Rule
Max discount rules can be overridden by staff granted permission via POS Security settings
If your product is not showing the correct product price, trying checking the fields above to see if there are any fields configured matching the calculated price.
