Web Store Integration - Controlling the order of product sizes in drop-down lists
Version note: Magento 1.7 and 2.1
When you synchronise products from Retail Express to your web store the product attributes such as size, colour, season and brand, are also synchronised. These attributes are synchronised in the same order as they are listed in Retail Express, which is alphabetically by default.
For most attributes this makes it easy, however this can be incorrect for sizes. For example: Large is alphabetically before Medium, and they are both alphabetically before Small.
Tip: Using Retail Express, you can control the List Order - the order in which your size values appear.
The List Order allows you to manually control the order in which Sizes will appear within reports, when sorted by the Size column. Additionally, the List Order regulates the order in which Sizes are listed in search options and drop-down menus.
List Order details can be entered at the time of creation of a Size, or edited and maintained afterwards.
The Size list information will be transferred to your web store during the next synchronisation, and the attributes will appear in the order specified.
